What Types of Immigration Matters I Handle

My practice focuses on matters where family and day to day life are at the center: permanent residence, citizenship, waivers, consular processing, interviews and immigration appointments.

This is not only about forms. It is about understanding your story, how it fits the law and organizing the steps so you know what is being requested, why and what to expect at each stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
About My Immigration Services

Answer: We start by understanding what is happening in your real life: relationship situation, children, current status and prior filings. From there, we see whether action is needed with USCIS, a consulate, immigration court, ICE or a combination.

Yes. Most of the immigration filings I handle are based on federal law, so we can handle your case even if you are in another state, as long as it fits the services I offer. The work is done by video call, phone and secure email.

Those are not the core of my practice. I am focused on family-based immigration and certain special cases (asylum, SIJS, U or T visas, VAWA, paroles, among others). If your case is mainly employment or business, the most honest approach is usually to refer you to someone who does that work every day.

A criminal record can affect things but it does not always close all doors. The first step is to review what happened, how long ago it was and how it was resolved. From there, we can realistically assess whether it makes sense to move forward.

We can review the file, what has been submitted, and what is missing. After that review, I will tell you honestly whether it makes sense for me to take over, whether it is better to continue as you are or whether the most prudent move is to change representation at another time.

It is quite common for those tracks to overlap. Part of the work is coordinating timelines and strategy so that what is done on one front does not harm the other. In the consultation, we review the full picture and I explain how it could be approached.

It depends on the type of case, the office that receives it and its workload at that time. I can give you approximate ranges and explain which phases usually take the most time but it is not possible to promise exact timeframes or results.

Some cases are structured by stages with flat fees and others require a different scheme. In the initial consultation, in addition to reviewing your situation, I will explain transparly what work I would do, what work would be your and how fees would be organized.
